What are the most famous and favorite Terengganu delicacy?
When visiting or having holiday in Terengganu, of course
people would love to try the famous Keropok Lekor Terengganu. It is not way to
over I must say that if you’re visiting Terengganu however didn’t taste or
didn’t has the advantage to taste Keropok Lekor, your trip are kind of boring
and your missed your biggest chance. So, what is Keropok Lekor? Well, Keropok
Lekor is a made of fish, flour, and starch. Those three things will be mixed
and rolled it into preferable sizes. Usually, keropok lekor which made from and
sold around Kg. Losong area, the size of keropok lekor usually comes in a bit
bigger sizes so that you will not upset or will be enjoyed. Well, that’s just
keropok lekor, what about Dodol Daun Palas, Terengganu traditional kind of
desert I think because it it sweet. It can be found in many stores nearby the
roads in Terengganu or just headed up to Kedai Besar Pasar Payang. This food
usually comes in wrapped up in a plastic pack which consist of three Dodol in
inside. Dodol Daun Palas usually sold arounf RM 5.00 each pack. Terengganu also
have their own traditional food which I believe it is more special than any
state in this country. Have you ever heard of Laksam Terengganu? It is a
Terengganu must favorite locals foods which it usually served in the morning at
stalls. Served with varieties of minced veggies, sure it will look very
delicious. Then, when you are visiting Terengganu in the season when most
fishermen went to the sea and catch squids and cuttlefish, Ketupat Sotong is a
must to try.
